Hello Welcome all,

My name is Derek or Logitech or Logi for short. I am born and raised on the west coast of Canada. I am the youngest of three and the only member of my family who loves Star Trek.

I started to watch Star Trek the next Generation on the televison in reruns late at night. I became interested after watching a season then I started to watch the original series. Even tho, the original Star Trek was first aired in 1966 and the FX was not good, I was ingrossed by the stories that they were telling and how the possibility of a future like that.

When Star Trek Deep Space Nine came about I was excited and couldn't wait for every epsiode every week. I enjoyed the stand alone epsiodes and I loved the arcs. What I love about Star Trek, I love how the story is being told in stand alones or arc episodes. I love the space battles( Who doesnt like some pew pew pew). Also story's or episodes that make you think and talk about days, months or even years later for subjects that are morally right but ethically wrong or morally right but not right in general or the old question, just the ends justify the means?

I love topics like this, that makes you think and analyze. There is a few of my all time DS9 episodes are, Far behind the stars. In the pale moonlight. The Siege of AR-558. Duet. Along with others over other Series.

I got into Star Trek online in year 2 I believe. Then a few years later they released The foundry where I would spend up to 5-6 hours a day creating missions and stories based on Ideas I came up with. Sadly the foundry was not kept updated and was shut down and a few weeks to a month had passed and I was getting more story and mission ideas, so I decided to write them as stories and with my love of story arcs I began making series in 3 parts and i have been writing ever since.

My stories always invlove space battles, some good characters and some good story lines typically over 3 stories in a series. I do carry over characters from one seriesd to another. What I want readers to take from my writing and stories and or series is for them to be talking about the story or the series and make them think.
